How do you design your listings? I mean the description HTML. Is it still worth paying someone to create a template?

I have been Selling for over 11 years and in all that time I have simply used the default font and text eBay provides in their Description typing field. It is mobile friendly too. I agree with both @fabrics24 and @jonathanbrightlight ... I like to state the facts, keep it simple and not embellish the item. On more than one occasion customers have commented that it was better than described. I've seen some horrible, hard to read and visually unappealing description fields that look like a Circus advertisement minus the Tigers and Elephants.

·1 month agoDefinitely not worth the price. I'd keep it incredibly simple, as a huge portion of buyers are on mobile, and anything crazier than bold, italics, etc, can make it completely unreadable for them.

·1 month agoI agree, even bold or italics can make the description not show directly on the listing on the app, too, meaning they just see an easily missed "See full description" link instead. I'd keep it short and unformatted.
