Thought I bought coins, received empty boxes
Thought I bought silver mint sets, but received empty boxes from! Ad was confusing! I just overlooked the "no coins" wording, thinking it was in error! If he would just have mentioned (EMPTY BOXES,) it would have made a difference to me as the 3 boxes of coins were for my 3 G-Kids, so why would I buy (EMPTY BOXES)? I would have gone on to another seller! Yes, I made the mistake, but am very much disappointed, and tried to return the empty boxes, but they said CASE CLOSED? **bleep**, I just opened the delivery box on Friday!!! To me, this seller was devious and Ebay wouldn't regard a BUYER who was always current! Besides I just received a "OON" TV from a private seller that was "Cracked" beyond repair and now this? You can't believe how nasty this guy was when he wrote back to me! If he was in this neighborhood, he would have heard from me personally! EBAY just has too many Obstacles to hurdle, & I still can't talk to someone? I guess I'll have to live with another loss! Ebay returned the money for the broken TV. I must admit that! Yes, it was my fault not to have been more careful, but the AD. most of it anyway, made me believe the offer was legitimate! Then he calls me a crybaby! What does that make him? They will blame it on me just to avoid paying their dues! What do you think? Just in case, I kept the broken 32" TV and the box of empty coin boxes by the way! I tried to place a return, but heard from No One? The principle of it all! I was unhappy with a purchase and want my money back!

·3 years agoThis auction title is clearly meant to obfuscate and confuse!
Yes, I personally think it’s criminal. Auction titles should be very clear and easy to understand what is being sold - not with small disclaimer at the end. Walking into the coin category is like walking into a viper’s den. We are seeing the evidence each day on the thread by ripped off buyers. I’m sorry this happened to you. Thanks for posting and raising awareness.

·3 years agoI have no idea how you could see the price, the title, the ad, and the pictures and not realize that there were no coins. Did you really think you would get 10 silver coins for under $9.00 including shipping?

·3 years agoDefinitely a silver set is a lot more than 8.88.
It was in the title - NO COINS
You could of returned the empty boxes at your cost of shipping.
The one thing I didn't like was the response of the seller to your feedback.

·3 years agoI hate to add to your aggravation but, really, haven't you already taught your three grandchildren that if a deal sounds too good to be true, that is because it is not true? And have you not already taught them that haste makes waste? I cannot believe that you expected to get a set of ten silver coins, proof, for $8.88 total including shipping; and the listing is quite clear that you will not get any coins of any kind. Give yourself a good talking to, take your small loss, and move on.
