The Lewis Chessmen
For all the chess players on the board, if you buy vintage chess sets or pieces keep a special eye out for the Lewis Chessmen discovered off the shore of a Scottish shore in 1n 1831, One piece is coming up for auction estimated at $ 600,000 to one million dollars. This may be old news but I was compelled to post this after being greeted by those Precious Moments items that kept showing up on this landing page.
