What does everybody think about eBay posting See Insights on sellers' listings. As a seller it doesn't make sense to show what the card sold for previously. It's like then why I don't sell it for that price then. It's like I'm now competing with See Insights for sales. How's others feel about See Insights?

·2 months agoFor many of the cards you are offering, it strikes me as appropriate and logical in this day when the thought processes of the buyers are as limited as AI is.
Cards that are PSA graded the same are for most purposes fungible commodities and commodity pricing is uniform based on supply and demand. So long as both supply and demand generate enough data it works, when it doesn't, the result is no worse than many of the buyers would choose based on their experience.
I've dealt in a variety of trading cards over the years, and today's market does little to excite or engage me. Could be cause I am old or could be because I am not turned on my commodity trading. And I find slabbed cards to be impersonal and unattractive.
