Recommendations on Reputable Dealer to Handle Coin Sale
I have a coin that I want handled by a dealer for maximum profit & safety.
I was looking for recommendations and not anecdotal. For instance a person who has actually used the service for a high dollar coin and how satisfied they were with the overall transaction.
Someone with a lot of experience might be able to tell me if it is better to use a local source as well.

Any seller, who takes consignments, charges for that service, and the price depends on what the coin is valued at, so I don't believe you will achieve maximum profit that way.
It might be more profitable to sell it to a local dealer in person - you'll have to do the math.
Consignment fee - 20% to 50% - depends on the seller
eBay Coin and Paper Money fee - 13.25%
eBay Bouillon Fee if applicable- 13.6%

OP9 months agoWhat I meant for maximum profit was specifically for me AND the dealer. They would be more knowledgeable so they could command a higher price than me.
