OP2 years agoThank you to the lovely poster on FB that let me know this is the mark of Son Mai Lacquer company in Vietnam. It is quite possible, however, that this wasn't made for export since there is no Made In anywhere on the box.

·2 years ago"Made in" only works when the mark is intrinsic to the piece.
If stamped or engraved, great, but those little stickers peel right off.
The English basis of the logo tells me that it's most likely made for export.
We're you thanking @waxu_93 or someone on fb marketplace?

The right, It looks like they have English letters, but I don’t know the specific meaning. Possiblilties there were signed by the author, or they were made in Vietnam. Who knows?
