Another factor that hampers identity is that most Murano glass houses (Families with the bona fides to be making "Murano Glass") DON'T sign or often even label their pieces. It would be helpful to know what (if any) provenance exists for your items.
I have studied & collected Murano Glass sence 1975. I went to a brick & mortar library. The first piece I found was a yard sale. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever touched. The feel was different than anything I had ever thought possible. It sadings me that people sale pieces for a cup of coffee on line! True glass from the murano furnaces feel different & have a life of there own. I thought I might sell a few pieces but, after looking at prices, I will love them until the lord takes me!
