Metal Peahen. Is this a figurine or part of something else?
I found this metal peahen at an estate sale. Am not quite sure what this is. Is it a figurine or something else. Maybe a finial to something? I tried picture search but could not find it. Looks old to me. If anyone has any clue pls let me know. Thanks much 🙂

·3 years agoThe use of single slot screws to hold the bird to the base suggest a somewhat older item (as opposed to Philips head).

·3 years agoA photography tip: the backgrounds of your photos makes it extremely difficult to focus on the object you are asking about. The color of your object and the background are very similar. A few photos that show a contrasting difference between object and background would clear this up.

OP3 years agoThanks 🙂 I however now using a large pic from this posting as photo search found one on India eBay. That person had it listed as brass, this one isn't. Apparently its just a figurine.
