Katani Japanese tea set w/lithopane
Trying to figure out the best way to identify and what to do with a set. Seems to be a little more difficult than I thought to identify and get an estimate. Hoping the subject line is pretty close to correct.

·8 months agoIf you are looking online then correct spelling matters in keywords. Lithophane - not lithopane.

OP8 months agoOkay, thanks I was actually struggling with exactly what the correct spelling was. I've decided to donate to a charity a d they will use the proceeds.

·8 months agoIf your plan is to donate to a charity that will sell it and use the proceeds for their good works, wouldn't it be a good idea to learn the value so that you can possibly list it as a deduction on your 2026 income tax return?
And not all charities work that way, but I'm certain you can find one that does.
