How to identify and report counterfeit English Pokémon cards.
Use the ? icon at bottom of right hand pop up of product listing page and select (IP infringement) then (Counterfeit).
I’ve been seeing a growth in sold listings for many counterfeit Pokémon cards lately. Especially: M Charizard EX (Y) (Secret) 107/106 Pokémon Flashfire Holo and M Charizard EX 108/106 | XY - Flashfire | Secret Rare.
Even though these counterfeits have been around for over a decade they are still prevalent and growing. I have contacted ebay, submitted images directly, messaged and submitted images to sellers and still the sold listings grow.
Even worse, I am seeing more children come in and show the cards off to store owners only to find out they are fake. This particularly bothers me.
I believe it is up to everyone to work together against these counterfeits. The two up top are very easy to spot.
Heres an image that shows you what to look for so you can warn others. (the image is of M Charizard EX (Y) (Secret) 107/106 Pokémon Flashfire Holo) The same errors appear on the more expensive “blue flames†M Charizard EX 108/106 | XY - Flashfire | Secret Rare.
I believe it will take everyone working together to stop the growth and spread of these counterfeits. Ebays AI always says no violation. But if we submit enough reports maybe it will start a ripple effect that will lead to a positive outcome.

·5 months agoMy response, likely not answering your questions nor (on the surface) very helpful. More subtle but instructive in a subtle manner. My comment - welcome to ebay. Attempting movement of mountains - specifically those that are sustained for business reasons ie profit - can be entertaining to pass time, but is not always successful, individually or in groups. Bless you for trying though and wishing you a successful endeavor thousands (or maybe millions?) of ebay user have attempted prior to your current efforts.

·5 months agoDoes this work for the Pikachu XY 124 promo as well? I just bought a few from different sellers but now I’m worried because there are WAY too many at this price point. The first link is from one buyer. (Bought 3 at about $50 a pc) then realized he has sold almost 30 of them in 1 listing. The 2nd link is from a seller that I bought 1 single from. Can someone tell me if they look legit or how I can get my money back if they aren’t?
