Hi, I neen help to try and ID these MCM Cairs
They are made of leather seats and aluminum frames. Held together with a two peice bracket and 1 wing nut and bolt on the bottom. Both the bracket and metal framing pieces have matching and

corresponding numbers stamped for proper assembly. I have found similar looking chairs but not exactly like this set up. No names or makers mark. Thanks any info would be helpful.

·2 years agoThe style is referred to as "Falcon" but the base structure is different than those I see as the bracket is generally vertical and yours is horizontal. Because the chrome pieces are numbered and the wing nuts are used, it seems like a do-it-yourself assembly project. Perhaps it was assembled incorrectly, or it's a variation of some kind. Just an observation on my part, and not intended as fact.

OP2 years agoThanks Rita! I agree that the base structure is different from the traditional Falcon chair. Considering that there
is one wing nut holding the entire chair together, chair is impressively strong sturdy. One theory that I have is that with the corresponding numbers on the base and the frame these could be prototypes of some sort. All the pieces have notches that fit around the one bolt. Once disassembled the parts fit together in a nice compact way for easy storage. I think it took considerable knowledge and skill to design and make these chairs. Thanks so much again for you incite.

OP2 years agoI think these are made to be portable. No tools needed.
