Help with identifying the symbols on the pin.

I have 3 of these pinbacks. It shows a knight ant the top with weapons emerging from the shield. The shield depicts a Calla Lilly I believe. Any ideas what society these pins were from? Doesn't match Knights of Templar.

Knights of Pythias. The canna lily is one of the main pieces of symbolism used by them, along with the knight's helmet and the sword. UR stands for Uniformed Rank. Look here to see similar pieces:

No, you are right. It is, of course, a calla lily -- not a canna lily. My father used to pride himself on the canna lilies he grew, and he'd be ashamed of me! ðŸ™‚

What's interesting is that enough other people made the same mistake than when I did the Google image search using the incorrect "canna," I still got so many hits.
