Help! What is this wooden vessel with leather? around it?
Almost 11" tall , about 9" diameter, 5" diameter at the opening. Wooden, almost black with concentric rings carved into it. Possibly broken and fixed. Anyone? It looks African, but I really have no clue. Thanks for any info!

·3 years agoYour item is not the same as the one in the link although it shares some features so yours could be African ...or just not Japanese. I think further research is needed. Sorry I can't help with the identification.
