Help Identifying Chinese Mark / Charaters on Vintage Porcelain

Question

Thanks for any help. I have been researching for about a week including google image search. I have turned the characters in all directions for google image search but still no luck. I have compared to all known Kutani marks I could find and tried to compare to known Chinese porcelain artists.

I have a number of small plates and cups and saucers. I believe these were all individually painted as no two are "exactly" alike, nor is the mark exactly the same on any two. It's the same mark, but not exact so definitely hand signed.

I even tried to image search the very pretty trim.

The characters translate to read "Mountain Cry". Not sure if that helps. I don't know anything about marks on china (no pun intended), but at least I can translate the characters into English.

Ironically the scene on your plate is a mountain scene.

Thank you to everyone. I thought it looked like Mount Fuji also but was not sure. I appreciate everyone's assistance.

Looks Japanese to me. That is surely Mount Fuji. Japanese uses the same ideograms as the Chinese, although often with different meanings.

So, go to somewhere like Gotheborg to look for Japanese marks on porcelain.

Looks like Mount Fuji to me so this could be Japanese porcelain? (kutani is Japanes also)
