·2 years agoA porphyry popeye birdstone. Here's one! But don't fly to Jupiter just yet. Yours has severe damage from a mechanical grinder on the side. Looks like someone might of engraved their DL or SS# on the side and then someone ground it off leaving a horrible scar. ·2 years agoI wanted to add what the purpose was for this; an atlatl was used to throw spears more effectively and this is an atlatl figural weight. The two holes on your stone carving were for attaching it to the atlatl.
I don't know if the one in my link sold for $350,000, that's where your follow-through in researching it comes in.
