Grading sports cards that require ebay authentication

Since ebay requires an authenticity process when purchasing sportscards with a value over $250, if the item is found to be authentic, can it be immediately graded for an additional charge?

@1horvy,

No. Authenticity Guarantee is not a grading service. If it's found not to be authentic, it will just be rejected.

How it works
Make your purchase
Eligible items will have the Authenticity Guarantee checkmark in the listing and will automatically go through the authentication process once purchased.
It’s authenticated
The seller ships your card to the authentication facility, where ungraded cards are inspected by CGC Cardsâ„¢, and graded cards have their case and label authenticated by a PSA authenticator. No regrading is performed.
Shipped with care
Once authenticated, your item is shipped to you safely and discreetly, with signature confirmation required.
