Fraudulent coins.
The horrible influx of fraudulent listings for rare coins is destroying the hobby.
In the last three weeks, I purchased coins listed as original that were actually
fakes or not as described. I have been a collector for over 50 years, purchased
many on eBay when this wasn't a concern. Now will stop buying until this is fixed.
eBay needs to resolve this as they are losing the confidence of the serious
collector community. Confirm sellers reputation and location, especially
those from overseas where these are made. Stipulate "copy" and create a
separate replicas category for these coins so we can be assured of not being
taken for serious money.
Little doubt this will be swept away and ignored but someone had to tell you.
