Does anyone recognize this signature or technique of art glass?
I'm hitting a blank wall on this one. It is a solid blue glass vase which seems to be coated with the decoration on the outside rather than different colored glass used. The bottom is marked and I can read part of the word as phenol... with a date of 85 on it. I believe the glass to be encased with a phenol laminate decoration, but can't find any good information about that technique. An image search brings up art glass such as Loetz and various studios. Any help with the maker or what to call this technique for research would be greatly appreciated!

·1 year agoI think the writing on the bottom is the artist's signature. The signature does resemble the word "phenol." Try posting to the pottery & glass group here.
