Can't find this marking anywhere
 4" tall vase. Loetz??
Does anyone recognize this marking Have looked everywhere and can't seem to find it

·2 years agoPost a photo of the entire item to assist with identification. The marking is hard to see except for the word sterling.

·2 years agoI also lean towards Loetz on this. Loetz did a lot of those oil-slick iridescent pieces with sterling floral overlays. I could not find one with that makers mark, though that mark does appear to include a script L.
I'd keep searching to see if you can match the mark.

·2 years agothe metalwork has nothing to do with loetz, many silvermakers bought loetz glass (in europe and here in the states) to add metalwork. who a picture of the bottom of the glass and close ups of the glass pattern
the sterling work was done by the La Pierre company in New York
