Any idea on the who, what , where, when...
Hoping for help again on what I believe is a Japanese piece. Unusual shape and design. It stands slightly more than six inches high. Japanese (?) characters in two places. Oval impressed mark near the smaller of the two. Fine crazing throughout. The bottom has a rough burlap-like pattern. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. Mark
