Anyway, your right about cool quarters. My question is, I started buying them a little late. Sure I got them from change but I wanted the best so it cost me a lot. I bought one from every mint, proof, silver and color. I now have the 125 quarter set.
Ive only seen one such seller selling his collection for $500.00 That's without the colorized coins. Not that there worth much. If your a potential buyer what would you expect to pay for my collection that are MS67-70DCAM?

To answer maybe the seller that has A listing at 500 you should watch his listing to see if they sell ID , think the market is hay wire ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN it's the pictures on eBay that sell then again it's not I, bought all the S coins A few mint rolls The best grade on WOMAN QUARTERS that I've, seen are Sally Rider They have the best field I, hold all the Mym QUARTERS from rolls The 2021 airmen are hard to get from rolls same as 09 to 12

But also, using all caps and no punctuation makes your big block of text very difficult to read.

·2 years agoThese posts that are writ mostly in upper case remind el Heron of the old telegraph system in use in the USCG during the 1950s. The machines were mostly from the 1930s and only had upper case. Heron was able to get the 'rythem' required to make the telegraph machines hum properly. The 'network' was connected by cable all along the eastern coastal area. Mostly connecting the 'lifeboat stations' with HQ in NY. There were 2 petty officers (both with over 20 years in USCG) that maintained the actual machines. It is most likely that the machines were manufactured in the 1930s. The 2 petty officers had their own 'rating'.
Heron was stationed at a coastal USCG radio station and met the two repair guys whilst they repaired the machine at the radio station.
The system was slowly being eliminated by high speed radio frequencies using speed keys for communications of Morse Code.
The use of telephones also hurried the demise of telegraph machines
However, the old telegraph machines were 'handy' for writing letters to relatives. Turn off the 'outgoing' section and leave the 'incoming' alive.
All letters to relatives were writ in upper case. Fun days at Riddley High.

It took be about 8 minutes to translate your message into words.
It has been years since I last used any Morse. However, little by little the Alt memory bank brought back the 'letters'. The letter V is always easy because when used with a telegraph key, it sounds like Beethoven's Fifth. dit dit dit dahhhh! Burned into the memory bank.
Four letters that bounce back quickly are N R D S. No, this does not mean nerds - it is the call letters for the USCG Cutter Spencer.
The time of 8 minutes really is slow compared to the 30 words per minute Heron could 'read' and type. During his active duty days. Never did get a full 40 WPM.
Although I tried. Yes, your message brought back a lot of memories
along with the message. Fun Times At Ridley High!

·9 months agoI sometimes mark valuables in morse code with my initials in hidden spots in case they ever "grow legs".
I believe most would hardly if ever notice them and if the police ever asked if I could tell them something to prove the item was mine..................
One has to use a loupe to even see the initials clearly unless one has very sharp eyesight.
