·7 hours agoWe visited the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Texas a few years ago. It was a great tour, and free! They have displays Showing you all the things that used to be used as money, including clam shells! There were a lot of higher denomination bills available years ago. With inflation, I was joking they need to bring back the McKinley "MiKi" ($500), because you can't take your parents to the steakhouse for a Benji ($100) anymore! I don't think there has even been a $250 bill.

·15 hours ago · EditedI could see a $250 bill after all a $100 bill is like a $20 dollar bill once was back when my parents house payment was $110 a month. I remenber I could get a pack of smokes and a quart of beer for around $1.25.
A hundred dollar bill is no big deal anymore.

·2 days agoThis is the dream of the guy who's face would be on it. But if it's to be a valid physical currency, and not a collectible at the same time, they can only print so much of it. There is only so much in the Federal Reserve, which physical cash still represents. And $250 is silly.
Who uses physical cash anymore anyway?
Expect another webpage where you can just buy the "collectible" (not valid) version. Some chumps will buy it still.
