Province of Pennsylvania Twenty Shillings dated June 18th 1764
this is one of the few pieces of paper to survive The-Great-Sell-Off-Due-To-Life... it's in sad shape, and almost in two pieces, but it's holding together... and might possibly have Ben Franklin's DNA on it...

·9 months agoI keep feeling so old.
Back in the day (1960's) I would go to local coin shows, and dealers would have bundles of raggedy colonial notes like this, $3 each, your choice. Now you don't see any, and when you do find them, they are $100+.
Why didn't I fill a shoebox with them?

·9 months agoWell, Ben Franklin was known for spreading his DNA around rather freely so anything is possible. 😀
