·3 months agoAnother issue I have found that has buyers concerned and asking questions. When you list a government packaged coin (2021 P Christa McAuliffe proof), or any US mint Proof or uncirculated Eagle, you have to pick "uncirculated and not graded" because it is your only two choices.
Here is what Ebay puts in the item specifics list "Ungraded - Uncirculated: Not in original packaging or professionally graded"??
This is not right!
Any suggestions as how to get around this false information Ebay is puting out?
Not everyone lists raw ungraded coins?

one coin i tried to list today wouldn't go thru even though i had everything done correctly... got ahold of ebay and was told there's an ebay issue with no timeline on resolution... (insert Gomer surprise surprise surprise)

OP3 months agoi was working on some new listings and was introduced to the new procedures...
very simple, it's all drop-down lists except for the cert number...
if the extra 12 seconds it takes to do is that much trouble you may wish to consider a different venue...

·4 months agoThis is going to cause me to spend a LOT of time filling out these **bleep** forms when all the information is in my listings!! I have over 700 slabs listed that has ALL THE INFORMATION LISTED that these **bleep** forms are asking for! PLUS, the SN of the slabs, which BTW is "OPTIONAL" on Ebays **bleep** forms!!
BUT, It's their ball so I guess I need to bite the bullet and play their game! Maybe IF they read these posts they will know just what an ass they have made of themselves?? Going to make the fakes expand even more.
OK, Ive had my say. I hope more ligimate coin sellers will chime in on this crap..

·4 months agoI've sold a few raw coins here but I am not a grader- coins sold were listed as ungraded/used/uncertified and I tried to have decent pictures - sold most of them and everyone seemed happy. most likely I'll just be listing everything as "less than fine" instead of ungraded if I list coins in the future.

·4 months agoHola Mr. Smedley...! These new listing rules appear to be good for the hobby. Although some of the 'older' listing words are interesting. Heron recently checked pricing of some USA coins and found this descriptive term...'Monster Toner'. Now, it is true that Heron is an old bird. Really old. The coin labeled 'Monster Toner' was 'toned' quite a bit. Many listings had the word 'nice' as description. Beautiful also has been seen often. And one item was listed as a Nice Fine but it appeared to be about Very Fine plus.

·3 months agoHeron yes listing have changed Some of the coin seller use STUPIDITY with A listing They say GORGEOUS/ BEAUTIFUL/like A run way model as for the EBAY changes all I, see Is someone writeing junk to have A job, PLAYING with A computer all day, I've, only sold RAW COINS The graded coins I, have are for ME, These changes have not effected me, Its alot easer when all you need is A phone to sell coins I, sat at A computer for A few years, doing COINS Its A WASTED DAY, have A nice day,

·4 months agoI await more information with bated breath. As of today there is nothing to do this in the listing process.
Did anyone else get a message about a 3 day from delivery time slot for INAD claims if the seller has a no return policy? My other account got one, but not this account. I can't recall the last return request I got on a coin, but I can see this being a boon for sellers of fakes.
