Mexico 50 Pesos Gold Weight Question
I just purchased two Mexico 50 pesos gold 1947 restrikes on Ebay from Liberty Coin a very reputable. I weighed both coins and each weighs 41.5 grams. On-line spec say 41.67 grams. Should I be concerned? My scale is not the best and has a .1 g variance. I have another 50 pesos 1947 I purchased years ago and on the same scale weighs 41.6 grams. Thanks

·3 years agowith what you say about your scale there's probably nothing to worry about... still, i'd verify with a good scale...
buy a good one if you're going to continue to buy gold...
