Is this a 1999 Close AM Penny?
Sorry for the lousy picture. I know next to nothing about coins. I'm just trying to learn since I have bags of pennies.
Thanks!

·2 years agoIf you have bags of pennies you might want to do this separate all the wheats then look for the 1968 $9 1972 UP TO $400 + 1982 $3 to $5 small date copper theirs 7 different 1982 pennies that's when they changed from copper to zinc then the 1983 $ 100 to $500 reverse then the 1998 $35 + 99 45 +@ 2000 $5 + for the wide AM OH THE 1995 $45 + THEN ALL 2009 $2 +P @ D PENNY NOW THE BETTER CONDITION THEY ARE THE MORE THEIR WORTH THESE DATES RANGE FROM $2 TO $500 check WEXLERS COINS @ KEN POTTER VARIETY COINS GET A LOOP @ SCALE

·3 years agoit is...
unfortunately, almost all 1999-P cents are close AM... the business strikes with wide AM are the good ones...
now, if you had a 1999-P close AM proof... that would be good...

OP3 years agoI have a 2003 penny that has a raised line coming from Lincoln's beard; it's not a scratch. Would this be considered an error? I also have one that's kind of funny - there's an engraved AL and the state outline. Someone had too much time on their hands. LOL!
