Many coins el Heron collected for the mint marks. Some were purchased for
a name (Mompelgart). It has been mucho fun collecting coins for various specific reasons. Example is Canada Silver Dollar with Totem design. In 1958 this design was somewhat 'modern' for a coin design. There are more coin favoritos, however, this batch will probably be enough for now. And there are 'markets' for these items.

·6 months agoWorld coins are quite nice, I sell a lot of low value ones in the $1-2 range. Ones lower than that go into our pick bins for shows if in 2x2s or if loose I bag them in 1 pound bags and sell for $8-10 a pound. The more you work with them the easier it becomes to know the difference. Sometimes they will surprise you.

Portugal 10 Reis 1837 Copper Coin.
British Copper Company 1/2 Penny 1813 Copper token.
Russia 5 Kopecks 1764 Copper Coin (easy to see this coin. It is 42mm Dia).
UK Birmingham Copper Company One Penny Copper token 1812.
UK Lowestoft fisheries One Penny Copper token 1811.
Note: The country of Brasil spells the name with an 'S'.

Also, Heron owns a square token issued in el Estado Chiapas Mexico. Dated 1898.
