New buyer.
I was selling an item worth £400. The buyer had just joined Ebay. How do I know if the buyer is legit or scammer? There is no ways to contact ebay. Plus Ebay doesn't have human to contact.

·1 week agoNew or old buyer, you run the risk of being cheated. Do not sell anything online that you cannot afford to take a 100% loss on.
That said, your big ticket camera is not likely to be the target of a professional thief - too hard to fence, not enough demand. But it is also overpriced in the US market, and unlikely to sell.

OP1 week agoThank you for your response. But I have already had three offers at that price and yes I can not afford to loose hugh amount, maybe its nothing for American. With F/1.2 lens going for over £1000 in UK in Ebay, my full equipments was a bargain.
