''Your item arrived at our shipping hub'' 14 days ago. Still there. What is going on?
Hello! I hope you guys can help, and someone from Ebay's staff too.
Im in Europe and I had a smooth Ebay deal with a good seller in the US.
So I purchased his collector's item. Flat. A piece of paper.
I paid import duties and had the package sent to the Ebay International Shipping hub in Illinois.
Great! The package arrived to the hub on May 17.
No more updates. 14 days and still there with ''Your item is being inspected''.
Yes, the delivery date is June 6, BUT we are getting very close AND packages leave the hub in 2 or 3 days after they get them, so what is going on?
The package was sent to the Hub with UPS and was delivered there. That is the only tracking number I had. The new one should be given to me by Ebay once they ship to me in Europe... but nothing is happening. It is just there in the hub while Im waiting for another update with their new EEUS tracking number.
It is not a cheap item, so I can not believe Ebay will rather pay a refund.
In fact, ''Nowhere'' is not a magic land where lost packages go.
Someone knows where it is and why.
Seller did the right thing and got his money. So why is the package still there?
Thanks for your help!

·3 years agoWe quite often don't hear back from some posters who had a problem days ago, let alone several months. Some probably don't even come back to read the replies to their first post, even.
Hopefully the OP got their item or their money back by now, as +/- 4 months would be too late to get satisfaction.

OP3 years agokyle@ebay and Ebay staff, please find out what is going on. Tomorrow June 6 is my delivery date here in Europe, but the package has not been updated since May 17, when it arrived to the hub in Illinois.
Are packages in the hub being taken away? Can Ebay be happy paying refunds to buyers while their packages are in someone else's hands?
Packages are not going nowhere. Nowhere is not a place.
Thanks

·3 years agoWhat is not cheap? Maximum value is $2,500.
What is the item category? Not all categories are eligible.
There's probably a backlog due to the heavy mail load from Mother's Day.
You have until July 4th file a not received claim. If you file as soon as you can the case will close in favor of the seller because the tracking shows delivered to the address they were provided.
I'd wait a week after the date it's due to file a dispute. Hopefully tracking will probably update by then.

Yes, price is not as high as 2500. Not even close. I already had that kind of collectible purchased before with the Global Shipping Program, so we can say this kind of flat piece of paper is OK with the new EIS. And, many other sellers with items in the same category have EIS available too.
Maybe the Mothers Day work load, as you say... but maybe in that case, we would see many other buyers asking about this strange delay (14 days for me today) as well?
