Wrong item
I received the wrong product. I have contacted the seller and they have received my product in Hong Kong. They also agreed to return it to them in Hong Kong, but the return has already arrived in New York. Because the return is subject to tax, DHL called the seller, but the seller did not answer the phone. I have reconfirmed the contact method and the seller's email with the seller, but the seller did not reply. Now DHL is reconfirming the seller's receipt and contact method? I have not received the product and the shipping fee, and the seller is not taking any action. I hope you can help contact the seller to resolve the problem? That is very confusing. I get that you received the wrong item in Hong Kong but not why the seller agreed to receive it there if it was shipped to New York?
If the item location on the listing gave a New York location that is where the return should be sent. If the location was Hong Kong that is where it would be returned.
If you filed an item not as described dispute, the seller is supposed to send you a return shipping label. If they cannot because they are not in the same country as you. They can request that you get an international shipping with door to door tracking, cost quote, and send the funds for you to return the item. If they do not send a request within 3 days you can ask ebay to step in on the 4th day and they will either send you a return label or issue a full refund.
If all you did was contact the seller without opening an item not as described dispute, using the More actions button in your purchase history, then you made a big mistake.
You also need to check each seller's feedback profile page before buying from one. Never go by a feedback percentage alone.

Here in US eBay has a money back guarantee, you have 30 days after arrival to file claim. Please check on your side of this applicable as rules can be different for your location.
You mention seller received product in HK, but the return is in New York, this is confusing.
