Wondering how to get ahold of customer service?
You probably don't need to.
All of the problems I have encountered have been easily resolved without contacting anyone besides the seller. I have been buying on Ebay for awhile now and have never had to contact customer support or even do the chat thing.
How you may ask? I read the Ebay policies on buyer protections (Money Back Guarantee) and put them to use on the rare occasions I've had problems with an order. If one makes use of these policies they will notice that sellers suddenly care about your problem, if they don't Ebay will usually make them. I contact a seller only ONE time to resolve an issue. If they don't respond in a positive manner I let Ebay step in and handle it under the aforementioned policies.
BEFORE making purchases buyers should do themselves a favor and read these policies to avoid unnecessary stress and confusion when purchases go sideways.
Thanks for your time reading this and good luck with your purchases.

·1 year agoI wish buyers would contact the seller first by email instead of opening a claim.
It states buyer and seller should try to settle the problem first...but I guess that's asking too much.

OP1 year agoNot asking too much but I won't get into a back and forth debate with a seller. I contact them once and if I'm met with less than a positive reply I use the money back guarantee.
I am careful when I buy and rarely have problems but sometimes................
If a seller replies with a plausible reason why an item is late for instance I'm OK with it.
Evasive or negative responses are just not for a buyer to deal with in my opinion. That's what the Money Back Guarantee is for.
Edit.....I saw where it looked as if I meant not to try to work it out with sellers. I edited my post to hopefully reflect this. Thanks for pointing that out.

·1 year agoAs a seller there have been a few times I needed to actually talk to a real human to get a problem resolved, even though the eBay system thinks they can solve it without human interaction.
