Is your browser clean and up to date? Are you using a VPN or some type of "incognito browser"? Constant verification isn't normal, there's some reason sites involving money need to verify it's really you. Then again, and again.

However...
This is an on going problem with ebay, they're fully aware of the issue and have spewed out pacifying information that they are working to resolve the issue. But anyone who knows better will tell you this is without a doubt related to ebays aggressive efforts to push users to the ebay app, which also has its problems, just a different flavor.
This is also align with Googles unethical tactics to aggressively collect user information and browsing habits to feed they're greedy business models.
And so both ebay and Google as well as other large entities will push this crap on the users to not be able to use a browser that incorporates security features that actually help protect the user.
I use Brave Browser, I like it and it is almost specifically targeted by ebay and others because of the security features.
If ebay, Google or any other greedy unethical corporate giant believes for a second they're so important to me that I have no choice, think again. I don't need ebay or any other business to tell (force) me to change my browser or device settings to appease them.
They could give a rats butt about my safety, WE are the product!
So it's NOT going to happen!
Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak as the internet will become almost unusable in the very near future, especially with AI becoming more prevalent.
We can only hope the powers that be will not steer AI in a negative policing type of environment, if so we're all screwed.

Yes, my browser, Brave Browser, which ebay targets specifically because of the security features. NOT a you thing.
Non stop barrages of pop-ups with a $10 discount to use the app! 🙄

So because I refuse to conform and switch browsers, or allow all cookies, all fingerprinting etc. or use the ebay app (which isn't any better) I'm now just in the last week or so all of a sudden being bombarded with "Pardon Our Interruption" verification and redirecting screens on almost every search!
To suggest I must change my browser and/or device settings just to spend money on ebay is ludicrous.
The responses to my post have obviously trigger an ebay minion retaliation.
You don't have to be a tech wizard to see what's really happening.
eBay isn’t “targeting†the Brave browser, but because it does not store the cookies used to store the verification of your account, that results in you needing to repeat the process unnecessarily. That’s not eBay’s fault, nor are they doing anything to cause it. The browser you are using is designed to result in that.
So because I refuse to conform and switch browsers, or allow all cookies, all fingerprinting etc. or use the ebay app (which isn't any better) I'm now just in the last week or so all of a sudden being bombarded with "Pardon Our Interruption" verification and redirecting screens on almost every search!
I use a VPN and dump cookies etc. on a regular basis. In doing so I accept the fact that I'll have to verify often and just do so.
At first I too was annoyed but after accepting the fact it's just a normal thing now. If nothing else it has increased my dexterity/speed with my mouse and keyboard. It has also prompted me to pay attention to my connection speed and troubleshoot when needed.
As far as AI being used for nefarious purposes, isn't that why you use security measures in the first place? There has never been new technology invented that hasn't been abused by some.....................
I access eBay on a tablet, laptop, and desktop. I never use the app. And I never get asked for any kind of verification. Never. And we seldom see this complaint in the forum. So I would respectfully suggest, as others have said, that this is a you problem not an eBay conspiracy.
You might want to post this on the Technical Issues forum. They may be able to troubleshoot your issue.

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Any of those could lead to verification issues.
If not, try using a different browser to rule out a browser issue. A blocked or corrupt cookie could cause similar issues.
