Why can't I add items to custom watchlists anymore from the item page?

Why can't I add items to custom watchlists anymore from the item page? I only get the option to add an item to the main watchlist. For years previously I could select a drop down to add the item to a custom list. Now you have to add it to the watchlist, then go to the watchlist page, select the item, then add it to a custom list. BUT if you then delete it from your main watchlist, it will also remove it from your custom watchlist. Which means you still have to keep every single %$#^$# item on your main watchlist anyway.

eBay, please wake up and stop killing the usability of your platform.

@wastingtime101 I'm using classic web, so most likely a rollout that hasn't hit everyone yet. It has been like this for me for about the last 6 months. I will report the issue like you mentioned.

No one who matters at ebay pays any attention to these boards. If they did, the issue would probably shunted over to their favorite new employee Arty Intel, who would make it a bigger problem.

So the best thing you can do is use the button posted by @wastingtime101

Hey @therareitemstore . Are you using classic web or mobile web?

I'm seeing the same as @mudshark61369 on classic web, so I'm trying to figure out if this is based on the platform, or if you're seeing it on classic web then maybe it's a phased rollout that hasn't reached my account yet.

I have seen a lot of buyers talking about this recently, but admittedly haven't paid attention to the details. I might dig into it today and see if I can figure out what's going on.

Either way, click the ? icon on the bottom right of the screen on mobile or classic web - or shake to report on app. This will give you the option to "send feedback" which goes to the product developers.

Edit: it could also be a test as I know eBay is rolling out a lot of changes to item view this year and probably next year and I'm still seeing tests on different accounts, and small changes here and there. eBay probably doesn't want to smack buyers with an entirely different page all at once so they are releasing updates in pieces. But this may still be in test phase which is why using the ? to report is so critical.
