Why are all the latest changes all for the WORSE?
I have been buying a LOT of stuff on EBAY for over 20 years - more than 10000 auction wins. Today for the first time ever an auction ends, i am the winner, and after 20 minutes not only i still cannot PAY, but the system has not officially declared the auction over. I can't even get the item to come up at all, i just get similar suggestions even though the item shows in my WATCHLIST as OVER, and the winning bid is mine, it does not show up in PURCHASE HISTORY and i cannot click on it and get it to open. Chat rep tells me after 1 hour this should change. AN HOUR? He says this is "the new normal". Just like everything else in the post- covid universe - no "new normal" is an improvement. I also am remarkably unhappy with the required INSTANT PAY on best offers, and I know they are itching to roll out INSTANT PAY on everything which will be even WORSE. Does anyone at EBAY or PAYPAL bother to look at their stock prices? If you ever want them to start going up again, maybe you should try some POSITIVE changes instead of all the annoying nonsense.

Agree on that in this way,
You can not combine shipping with other items seller may have in store, or other offers made.
It is great with free shipping.
I understand a seller may be more likely to take serious offer over someone fishing for a good deal., and then not pay.

I have had a couple of issues over the last 48 hrs...
Items missing, or paid item that still needs payment...
I would sign out, clear your cache/cookies, sign back in.
There seems to be a glitch with some ebay systems.

If you had the listing in your watch list and it is still there listed as Ended have you tried opening it? If it will not open, and you get a response saying "we cannot find the item", then it is likely that the listing was reported and pulled by ebay just as it ended, and the seller may be no longer a registered user as well. That would also be the reason why it isn't in your purchase history.
When you looked at the auction, were there any indications of it possibly being a scam? Was there contact info for the seller in a photo, or in the description? If the item had a BIN price as well as a starting bid price was there any wording saying something like "only the BIN price will be accepted"? That was a scam that used to be common a few years ago.
If you haven't received a "you need to pay for the item" message, then do not worry about it.
