what if the product is counterfeit and Return shipping fee policy is on buyer
Hi
I'm trying to buy a headphone through ebay seller who doesn't have any feedback yet.
It's brand new seller just signed in this september.
I'm just curious in case of seller send me a fake(countfeit) product.
Still i need to pay the return shipping fee?
Thanks for your help.

Do not make the purchase! Just as you did not read about ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) for buyers, Most new sellers do not read about the 21 - 30 hold ebay places on their first few payments. They do not ship because of the hold. The end result when two inexperienced members get together is usually a train wreck. What you need to do is read the terms of ebay's MBG which is in the link below.

·1 year agoIs there something about them that raises red flags? The MBG is solid as stated. However, if the seller is overseas this will delay any returns/refunds.
Also, while I agree with 'everybody starts at zero, give them a chance' a new seller with expensive items (I assume if it's worth counterfeiting it's expensive) sometimes can be problematic whether legit or not. And of course, if the price is too good to be true, it's not true.

·1 year agoIf they are fake, it doesn't matter what the sellers return policy is, you're covered by the MBG and the seller pays return shipping.
Not as described returns are paid for by the seller.
Remorse returns like didn't like it, ordered by mistake, didn't fit returns are paid for by the buyer if the seller doesn't offer free returns.
You just opened your account on July of this year, should the seller be worried about you?
