Warning: "your estimated delivery date has been updated"
Doesn't change the date you can file an INR. That's always 30 days from the original EDD. Found out the hard way. Had to use CC dispute to get money back. And btw, this "orange connex/speedpak", eBay's bulk shipper out of China gets paperwork customs holds on whole containers and never resolves them. Basically stealing your money by "extending" EDD and then not accepting Buyer Protection cases.

This is the 5th topic you have posted on this one subject, changing delivery time frames. I do not believe or have forgotten if you ever mentioned the purchase date and the EDD shown on the day you made the purchase.
While eBay will extend the time frame if an item has tracking showing a shipper has the item, but it is delayed because of customs delays or weather events. The 30 day from the last EDD on the day you purchased the item, has always been in effect.
You have used these boards enough to know that buying from China based sellers is risky at the best of times. However, with the tariff wars and the fake tracking scam they employ, it is worse now than it was before.

OP1 week agoMud, it's the second , not the fifth (although I replied several times). The difference being that l know now that eBay intentionally misleads buyers with this updated EDD into believing it extends buyer protection. Who the hell would think the original EDD based on the purchase date applies when eBay sends a notification that the EDD was updated? Nobody. What I also learned is that this eBay bulk shipper, orange connex/speedpak, is premissed on filling a cargo container with thousands of eBay packages, nearly all small cost Chinese items. If these get inspected and a single item is irregular, the likelihood that the vendor will spend time correcting it is zero. The whole container is held in customs and on day 45, it is destroyed, at least in the USA. How did I learn this? Alot of AI question answer. If I know this, so does eBay. Inasmuch as Chinese risk occurs, I assume none of it. If eBay wants to simplify matters, then it needs to automate the INR refund procedure...if there's no proof of delivery by the EDD, the buyer automatically gets refunded.

What about packages that get delivered but don't get a delivery scan, should they get a refund?
What about the ones that don't ship with tracking?

OP5 days agoYes and yes. No more untracked shipping. No more "don't get a delivery scan", no more excuses. You don't have proof of delivery by the EDD, I get my money back. All of it. Enough of this.

·5 days agoIf you don't receive your item by the EDD, open an INR the next day.
Seller has 3 days to refund or provide proof it was delivered.
The MBG works pretty good when it's used right,.
