USPS strange status. Is it actually shipped?
Hello,i ordered an item on ebay and got the following tracking details:
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item March 28, 2025
Shipping Label Printed at Self-Service Kiosk March 31, 2025
USPS electronic receipt of item for mailing March 31, 2025
And it even tells Expected Delivery by Thursday 3 April 2025
Also i can read:
USPS electronic data indicates receipt of your package at our Self-Service Kiosk (SSK) on March 31, 2025 at 2:47 pm.
How do i know if its really shipped or not? Should i wait for the status in TRANSIT and when?
Seller said that it was taken to post. Handed to the USPS clerk.
Thanks

The problem could be due to some storms that swept through many states in the last week. You can open the listing look for the item location which should give a city and state, then do an online search to see if the area was hit with, flooding, or tornadoes. Also check the order details for the last estimated delivery date.
One thing you can do that might help you is to go to the USPS site and sign up for their Free Informed Delivery service. If it is in their system it will get a tracking update and USPS will let you know on the day it is out for delivery.

·6 months agoIt's not uncommon for packages to not receive scans along the way and receive a scan when it finally reaches you @miel_6127 . Also, USPS facilities across the country are still very backed up from weather delays and winter storms. There's a lot of backlog and at some facilities I'm seeing packages sitting for a week.
All that said, I suggest being patient because of these delays and allowing more time for delivery if you can.
eBay shows an estimated delivery date for every purchase. Check your email confirmation and look at the latest date in the estimated delivery window. If your item doesn't arrive by that date you can file a non-receipt claim.
You have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date to file a claim. Instructions here: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042

·1 year agoIt probably has shipped.
The seller may or may not have handed it to a clerk, but that is irrelevant.
At this point in time, there is no action you could take, even if the seller did not ship.
You are without any reason or method to take any action until the expected delivery date for your order, as shown on your order stored on Ebay has passed.

While it's strange that it has two acceptance scans, it does show it was mailed. You should eventually see more scans, although USPS is notorious for missing them.
Tracking really isn't for your benefit, it's for the seller's. If tracking doesn't show delivery by the day after the last estimated delivery date all you have to do open an item not received case to get a refund.

Looks like your seller mailed it at one of the 24 hour, USPS self-service kiosks, and then the package was accepted by USPS on March 31, 2025.
Should not be a problem -- that's how I ship 95% of my eBay sales.
