Using a coupon when making an offer
Have a question. I got the eBay app and it gave me a code for $5 off my first purchase using the app. The problem is, I made an offer on an item. And as you know, those are 'prepaid' with payment method and no opportunity to put in any code if it's accepted. Is that $5 only for BIN or auction purchases then? And what happened to the easy way of getting ahold of eBay via chat or something? Everything just takes me to that automated thing that sends me to articles? Thanks for any help - been ages since I've had to use the forum or have needed help!

·1 year agoThe coupon will have to be used on a fixed price listing.
Offers are separate from any other type of discount, and most of them have autopay enabled. Most auctions also have autopay enabled.
You should try to purchase a fixed price listing before the seller accepts the offer you made and that becomes your first app purchase, making the coupon invalid.
