US has Japan under economic sanctions, Japan retaliates, seller can't ship.
There is an issue with destination country.
Seller emailed me: As you already know US has put Japan under economic sanctions, and as a measure of retaliation against this betrayal, Japan has decided to limit the value of exported parcels. It is now forbiden to export a parcel with a value that exceeds $100.

The sad fact remains that it's impossible for your seller to ship to you, and 30 days after the last estimated delivery date you'll lose your coverage under eBay's Money Back Guarantee. EBay can't override Japan's restrictions, and they won't be lifted in time for you to retain MBG coverage even if tRump dies tomorrow. Your only option is to have the seller cancel the order.

·5 months agoFrom today Japan Post is accepting usual EMS shipping to the USA. Duty is prepaid before shipping and sellers will need to figure out how to charge buyers that 15%. I'm adding it to my prices and refunding non-USA orders 15% after purchase. You can buy now. Cheers.

As far as I know - There are no current economic sanctions by the United States against Japan, and Japan has not imposed a $100 export limit on parcels to the U.S.

Tell seller to cancel order.
If it gets better they can let you know, then reorder.
