Urgent Help Needed: Stuck in chat loop
Summary: nelsonglandaverd0 is seeking urgent assistance from an eBay Community Moderator to escalate a fraud issue with an order of Apple AirPods Max. They are stuck in an automated chat loop and cannot take phone calls as they are leaving the country soon. kathiec and stainlessenginecovers respond, explaining that the forum is not monitored by eBay for escalations and that eBay's process requires a three-day period for sellers to address issues before intervention. They note that the situation's urgency may not alter eBay’s standard procedures.
Hello, I need urgent assistance from an eBay Community Moderator to escalate my case.
I am completely stuck in an automated chat loop that keeps forcing a phone call, but I do not have a phone line available to receive it.
My order #25-14797-58076 for the Apple AirPods Max has severe fraud issues. The seller is reusing the exact same invoice across multiple separate listings. The serial number L4YWYRVW7F is cloned/reused and appears online in unrelated posts.
Furthermore, I leave the country tomorrow, so I cannot wait for the standard 3-day automated resolution period to ask eBay to step in. I request a human review of this transaction to grant a full refund under the eBay Money Back Guarantee. Thank you

You file an INAD and ship the item back, then the seller will refund.
If you're leaving the country, find someone that can handle the return for you.

·1 month ago@nelsonglandaverd0 never gonna happen. There is no HURRY UP system and as already stated, this is a forum of fellow members and even if an Ebay employee were to stumble upon this, they would simply 'pass it to the appropriate team' where you might get notified days/weeks later as your little 'thingy' of the 5,000,000 transactions done per day, is like a grain of sand along the Pacific Ocean beaches.

EBay seldom monitors the forums. They're moderated by a third party with no ability to escalate anything. Even if they could, eBay requires the three business day period before you can ask them to step in. That period is to give the seller a chance to make things right, thus avoiding the account defect they'll receive if eBay has to force the issue. You leaving the country will not be considered an appropriate excuse for depriving the seller of that opportunity.
