UPS Ebay package not trackable in UPS...
I recently purchased a set of books and the seller shipped with UPS (always more hassle) and this time there was an additional issue - while Ebay shows tracking on the '1Z' package, UPS' actual site shows the number is invalid. I have special delivery requirements for UPS MyChoice and they can't be used here because the package isn't using a proper tracking number. What's worse is UPS now has virtually no way to speak to an actual agent.
I hate this "tape your item to the back of a goat and slap it on the butt" / DHL gray-market shipping. Always makes me dread buying online.

·3 years agoHave you contacted the seller to check the tracking number? Are they a new seller or have they been selling for a while with good feedback?
On the UPS log in page at the bottom are at least 5 ways to contact UPS.

OP3 years agoOK - so was RESOLVED. You can get to a person at UPS by saying "Complaint Manager" to the Shodan wannabe' A.I. you get on the phone. Then the UPS agent was able to see the package and tag it with directions.
