untracked shipping
I purchased a dvd and today received a message that my order has shipped vis media mail (untracked). Media mail has tracking so what possible method could the seller use ? Thank you

Did you check your seller's feedback profile to see how much experience they have as a seller? If they are a new or very occasional seller who doesn't print labels through ebay they may not know how to upload a tracking number to their sold item listing. You may have to help them with that.
Just had another thought, if your seller is inexperienced they may have listed Media Mail as the shipping method, but if they ship using a made for DVD box/envelope they may have been told by a USPS clerk they could send the item 1st class, w/o tracking for less, and did that. If you have signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, you will receive a photo of the item on the day it goes out for delivery.

·1 year agoIt probably just means that the seller hasn't uploaded a tracking number yet.
If you have a USPS Informed Delivery account, then any tracked package to your address will show up in that account once it is received by USPS.
