Trying to determine if a book was received
I have an Ebay shipment notice, which cites an order number, saying I would receive the book July 22.
Here's the problem:
1. I can't find the book anywhere, so did I receive it?
2. It says July 22, but what year was that? For all I know it may have been any of the past few years..
3. I search on the order no., and it says nothing can be found! What the heck?
4. How can I get ebay to check this order no., and confirm that it was shipped, and when?

·2 years agoEBay wouldn't send a shipping notice for something you haven't purchased recently. So "what year?" is a moot point. They wouldn't send a notice for anything other than 2023. If you received this in an email and have no record of the purchase in your purchase history, the chances are very good this was a phishing email. Phishing attempts of this type are becoming quite common. Hopefully you didn't click on any links in it.

·2 years agoSeems like you would know if your ordered something especially if it was less than a month ago. Did you check your Purchase History? You can check you purchases for the past two years.

Did you just get the Notice?
Is the Notice you received from eBay dated?
