·4 months agoNo legitimate seller sells a vehicle for less than the wholesale price a dealership would offer.
No legitimate seller offers free shipping.
No legitimate seller offers an inspection period.
No legitimate seller offers free return shipping.
No legitimate seller, selling on another site, states that it will go through eBay.
No legitimate seller asks for gift cards.
No legitimate seller refuses to allow an in person inspection of the car and the title.
If you see a vehicle on the internet that you are interested in, contact the seller, make arrangements to inspect the vehicle, or hire a person in the seller's area to inspect it for you, if for any reason the seller will not let you inspect the vehicle - it does not exist.
Vehicles handled by eBay are on eBay Motors - not any other sites, if the seller states that eBay will be handling the transaction - it does not exist.

·4 months agoNever send money via gift cards, no matter what the seller claims. Stick to keeping transactions on eBay.
If a price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Pay a fair amount for a truck and don’t get fooled by unrealistically low prices with perfect photos.
Always be cautious about who you’re dealing with—a scam is still a scam, hook, line, and sinker.
