Transmission
I purchased a transmission for $1700 from a seller that had great reviews. Transmission was bad and seller will not do anything about it. It came with a 1 year warranty. Ebay refused to help and just tells me to contact seller. I have contacted [removed by mod] fourteen different times. His business has a 1 star review on google. How does he post false feedback? Any ideas on how to get my money back or help from ebay?

·8 months agoAs others stated try your payment source. If that doesn't work then you are out of luck. Customers post feedback not the seller.

·8 months agoIf you were not careless enough to fail to pay by credit card, now is the time to attempt to open a dispute with your credit card issuer.

·8 months agoeBay only covers you for 30 days from delivery. There is no warranty on most items purchased here. Enforcement of any the seller gives is outside of eBay. You have to take it up with the seller. Small claims court is about all you can do. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company. Some have up to a year and other cards six months.

From reading their warranty, seems they want receipts /documentation for a litany of procedures and related parts replaced. Many bone yard sellers do this to create loopholes for avoiding warranty claims. Has the seller communicated any response at all?
