TRACKING INFO PROVIDED BUT NO INFO ON SHIPPING ON USPS SITE
I recently purchased a lamp on ebay and paid for the item on October 5th. The seller provided a USPS on OCT 5TH and its estimated to arrive on 10/11. When tracking the item on the USPS site it only informs of a tracking number being provided but the USPS is awaiting for my item. I have reached out to supplier twice to confirm if item has been shipped but received no response. I have emailed them twice. Any advice on what too do? I have never had a problem with a seller and have been on ebay since 2009? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As a buyer only on eBay that's all I bother with anymore when it comes to tracking. I don't fret if it's late less than a week. Stuff happens.....................

As soon as a seller purchases a label, the tracking number is generated and ebay shows it as "shipped" even though the seller may still have additional handling time during which to wait to ship it.
On the order, it shows the estimated delivery date and if you don't receive it by that date, go back to the order the next day and click on "I haven't received my item."
The seller will have 3 days to respond and if he doesn't respond or if you still haven't received it, go back on day 4 and ask ebay to step in.

·11 months agoI received a package a few days ago and all it showed was a label had been created and they were waiting on the package.
Didn't get another scan until it was delivered.
If the estimated delivery date is the 11th, I'd give it next week to arrive.

Without more information we cannot say why the tracking has not updated. We could give you better info if you post the ebay item number for the item, which can be found under the item title in your purchase history.
Legitimate reasons for tracking not updating are. The item is coming from outside the U.S. and until the item reaches this country, clears customs and is handed over to the USPS the tracking will not update.
The seller is new to selling or has not sold anything in a long time, ran into ebay's 21-30 hold on their first few payments and doesn't know how to deal with it.
The item was shipped using ebay standard envelope (for trading cards mostly) which rarely get tracking updates until it reaches your local P.O..

USPS often shows no tracking info in between ‘A label has been created’ and ‘Delivered’ in my experience. They simply don’t scan packages at every stop.
I strongly recommend NOT contacting sellers before the Estimated Delivery Date.

·11 months agoAll that you should be concerned with now is the estimated delivery date. One day after that file a 'item not received" case. Multiple things could have happened but the seller not answering twice can be a red flag.

Give it a couple more days.
You have up to 30 days to file for a refund if it doesn't show up.
