Tracking and shipping
I ordered an item on Jan. 9th and it hasn't come in yet. Item is supposed to have tracking on it but it doesn't have any info. Seller message said it should be here by Jan. 16th. This is the 2nd item I've ordered recently and it's taken over a month to receive item. I've been a member of eBay since close to the start but if it's going to take this long to receive orders then I guess I'll just start using Amazon exclusively. Can't even find a way to contact ebay. This last item is a part for my brothers washing machine so he's been having to drive an hour to go to laundromat. I'm venting more than anything and wonder if other people are having issues with eBay such as this one? Appreciate any feedback.

·1 year agoYou were shown an estimated delivery date when you purchased. If that date was January 16th, you could have opened an item not received case on January 17th and had 30 days since that date to do so.
You have been here since close to the start (per your statement), and have never had a reason to read the Money Back Guarantee or to use it?

You don't need to contact eBay. You just need to investigate eBay's Money Back Guarantee, which is linked in every listing. The process of opening a case is fully automated. On the day after the last estimated delivery date go to the item in your purchase history and click 'I didn't receive it' under More actions.

·1 year agoLook at either your confirmation email or the item in your purchase history. It should show an estimated delivery date range. What's the latest estimated delivery date shown there? Ignore what the seller told you; go by eBay's date. If the latest estimated delivery date was before Jan. 16 you've waited too long to open a case. You only have 30 days after the last estimated delivery date to do so. If that's the case you'll need to open a case with your payment source. Paypal allows 180 days for an item not received case; credit cards can allow up to six months, depending on the card.

·1 year agoA day after the estimated delivery date Ebay gave you, open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
