Toys and hobbies
I collect antique tin toys & pressed steel toy trucks but sadly Ebay has decided to only show the most popular categories in Toys and Hobbies, so I can't search for the items I want. Does anyone think this is a good business practice.

Unfortunately, when first searching for pressed steel or tin toys, you can only select Toys & Hobbies. However, if you include a Mfr's. name to the search Ex; Tonka, Structo, Wyandotte, Marx etc. to the search, under the search title you should see subcategory buttons you can click on.
A search for vintage pressed steel trucks, cranes, tractors etc. will prefill the category.
A broader search for pressed steel toys will return a huge number of results but many of them modern items, most likely not the ones you are searching for.
I prefer to search by maker rather than using general searches, and use "vintage" in the search, as well. Though you will get things like mini Tonkas from the 60s 70s in the results. Generally when I search for those items I'm looking for specific pieces, so I try to refine my search terms by looking for a year of Mfr. or a specific piece.
