I don't quite understand this. You don't have to create an account on eBay; you can buy as a guest. Other companies on the internet from which you wish to buy, wouldn't have anything to do with eBay.
If you are referring to your age, there are multitudes of both buyers and sellers on eBay who are in their "upper years" and are still active at buying and selling (myself included).
My age has slowed me down and I have income expiring soon. I don't want to owe anyone.

But I don't believe eBay has ever required "yearly fees" from buyers or sellers.

Secondly, there is no upper age limit for having an eBay account and how would eBay know your age anyway?

This is just a forum of folks who discuss stuff on ebay.
I truly believe no one is too old for another account to buy or sell on ebay.
