Title of listing is completely wrong
I ran across this listing and reported it to eBay. Title is
"Winter newborn socks crochet knit socks shoe booties baby newborn slippers"
ITEM NUMBER: 135286892787
You would expect to see a crocheted pair of baby booties. I don't even know what is in the photo and the descrip. doesn't match title either. Reported it to eBay and they messaged that they don't see any issue with this listing. Am I missing something here?? It's a brand new seller with "0" feedback. So now you can have a title that has absolutely nothing to do with what is being sold??

As of this morning the seller seems to have corrected the error, and the listing has photos of the socks/booties. It even has a new item number 185631446530 with the same title.
Chances are the seller realized their mistake and relisted the item correctly with the proper photos.
Accidentally posting the wrong photos to a listing, or posting the wrong title to an otherwise correct listing, is something that just happens on occasion. A seller may get distracted while creating a listing, or lose track of what they are listing when posting many items. It happened to me once and it took a prospective buyer a couple of days to let me know about the mistake so I could correct it.
Your report to ebay may have failed because of the few choices that are allowed for Reporting items, which all lead to actual listing and or policy violations, not mistakes, and the low number of characters allowed to describe an issue.

·1 year agoI can't comprehend why you reported it to Ebay. Most sellers will make this mistake by accident. This happens esp when one makes a large amount of listings. Was your goal to get this seller in trouble? I always appreciate it when other sellers message me about my mistake.

·1 year agoAnd the description is for something completely different from both the title and photo. If I saw something like this posted by a brand new seller I would message them to point it out before I'd report it to eBay. I don't think there's any possibility anyone but the seller will be hurt by it.
Oh, and the photo is of old-fashioned faucet handles.
